80s Disco Organisers Donate £200 to WRVS Luncheon Club

was very pleased to accept a donation on behalf of the from . The money was raised at an 80’s disco held at Beverley’s Memorial Hall in February.

Kerri said;

“It is a pleasure to give £200 to this fabulous cause. Elderly residents from Beverley have lunch every week at the Samman Road Day Centre, and they have a chance to chat with friends and socialise. It is fitting that this money was raised by Beverley people for Beverley people!”

Jean is still undecided at how the Luncheon Club will use the donation saying;

“It will either be a free lunch, or maybe a day out having strawberry tea in Scarborough.”

This is only one of many donations being given out from the proceeds from the event. If you have any ideas for local causes/charities who would benefit from a donation please contact Kerri at kerri@westholmecars..co.uk
