Beverley Town FC have moved top of the Humber Premier League with a 3 – 1 win over Crown FC at the Norwood Recreation Ground. The win means that Town has leap frogged title rival Sculcoates Amateurs and opened up a two-point lead.
Beverley went into their top of the table clash with rivals Sculcoates Amateurs, knowing that a victory would mean them leapfrogging their opponents into 2nd place.
Two goals from Rob Northern and a strike from Richard Gibson ensured Beverley Town FC continued to keep in the hunt at the top of the HUmber Premier League.
