Molescroft Rangers were beaten 2 – 0 by Hodgsons FC Reserves at the Beverley Leisure Centre thanks to goals from Rob Whiting and Gary Collins. The win sees the Tanners second team climb to fifth in the East Riding County League Division 1. Hodgsons FC Reserves completed their pre season with a comprehensive win over Leven Members Club 5 – 0 at the Beverley Leisure Centre. Stew Scott and Rob Whiting scored twice each while Garry Collins claimed a goal after converting a first half penalty. The Tanners second string gets their season under way next week as they travel to Bishop Burton to face Terry Jackson’s Lord Nelson.

Hodgsons FC were without first choice keeper Vinnie Fleming who has been sidelined after an operation.
