Hull Man Prosecuted After Rubbish Dumped In South Cave

A man from Hull has been prosecuted after rubbish was dumped on a verge in South Cave in 2017.

Deividas Anzelis, of Parthian Road, Hull, pleaded guilty to failing in his duty of care by not ensuring his waste was disposed of legally when he appeared before Hull Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday 10 March 2020.

The family and friends of a popular Market Weighton man with Motor Neurone Disease have pledged to raise £5,000 for the Motor Neurone Disease Association (MDNA).

59-year-old former Royal Mail manager and accomplished musician, Dave Foster was diagnosed with the debilitating disease in July 2019. His family and friends initiated the fundraising drive to raise awareness of the condition that affects up to 5,000 adults in the UK at any one time.
