New documents have been donated to the Amy Johnson display at Sewerby Hall near Bridlington in East Yorkshire.
Among these items are Amy’s original Hull Aero Club membership certificate, her pilot’s license, a pin badge in the form of Amy’s plane Jason, and some newspaper cuttings.
A charity casino night is being held on Saturday 19 March at Lazaat Hotel and Restaurant in aid of Beverley Community Lift, the local charity which helps elderly and disabled people get out and about.

Another good day was had at Hull Aero Club on Tuesday 1st March with Andrew Brant logging his 25th flight at the club. Flying his foot launch paramotor, he enjoyed a late afternoon flight with several of his fellow pilots. Andrew has being flying paramotors for 5 years and joined Hull Aero Club in 2008 starting his flying career as a hang glider pilot some 30 years ago.
Paramotor pilots Alan Beetham and Mark Jenkinson celebrated on Saturday when they both logged their 100th flight. Flying from Hull Aero Club (Leven), they headed to Hornsea Mere at an attitude of 2,000 where they then drifted down the coast to Mapplethorpe (waving to sun seekers and dog walkers alike).
