Beverley Exit Cup to Driffield at Norwood

Beverley Town Reserves were beaten 5-3 by Driffield Evening Institute at Norwood. Beverley Town Reserves return to league action next week when they host title hopefuls Viking Raiders at the Norwood Recreation Ground. Town’s First team was not in action, their match with Hedon was cancelled due to a frozen pitch. Other teams including Beverley Whitestar, Hodgsons FC and Molescroft Rangers also had their games postponed due to frozen pitches….

Organised by Faye Clark on behalf of the Parents and Friends of Tickton School, the event is used to raise money for Tickton Primary School. Now in its 4th year, the ball raised over £500. Over 200 young people attended a Club Night themed Youth Cafe at Beverley Minster on Friday night. An army of volunteers from the congregation ensure this event takes place every 6-8 weeks for the young people of Beverley. Working in partnership with other churches in Beverley, the Beverley Minster hosts the Youth Cafe under the Love Beverley banner, which seeks to serve the town of Beverley in any way possible….
