Designed by the authority’s transport policy team, the maps can be found on the council’s website and downloaded using simple step-by-step instructions onto Garmin, MemoryMap or SatMap devices.

Sheltered Housing schemes residents will be joined on Wednesday by local campaigners opposed to East Riding Council proposals which would see warden numbers in Sheltered Accommodation slashed. 

In July, ERYC proposed a shake up of arrangements for the area’s Sheltered Housing schemes which would see 53 dedicated wardens being replaced by 11 mobile wardens.

Extended Closure Period For The Bridge At Rawcliffe Bridge

East Riding of Yorkshire Council has announced that the current temporary closure of the bridge over the Dutch River at Rawcliffe Bridge has had to be extended.

It had been intended to reopen the road next Monday 20 November, but the road over the bridge will now be closed for a further four weeks, and is now scheduled to reopen on Monday, 18 December.
