East Riding Choir To Perform At Beverley Minster
The East Riding County Choir’s next concert will be in Beverley Minster on Saturday, 5th May 2012 at 7.30 pm. The Choir is singing two contrasting works – Lux Aeterna by Lauridsen and A German Requiem by Brahms (performed in English).

Beverley Minster was filled with glorious music when the East Riding County Choir performed Handel’s Messiah. The capacity audience was treated to fine singing from the soloists, Ildiko Allen (soprano), Rupert Enticknap (countertenor), Mark Chaundy (tenor) and Jonathan Gunthorpe (baritone). East Riding County Choir Put Prepare For Tonight’s Performance
The East Riding County Choir have been rehearsing since September and tonight at Beverley Minster they will perform Handel’s Messiah. The final rehearsal is used to give the choir the opportunity to become accustomed to acoustics of the Beverley Minster and being accompanied East Riding Sinfonia. New Singers Required for Choir
The East Riding County Choir needs singers in all four voices. The music we sing is beautiful and challenging. In the recent past we have sung Verdi’s Requiem and Bach’s B Minor Mass.
