Beverley Squash and Racketball Club is holding a racketball try out session for ladies only on Saturday 20th March between 2pm and 5pm. Racketball is played indoors on a squash court, but the game is easier to play than squash because the ball bounces higher – even more than a tennis ball. The final race of the 2009 / 2010 East Yorkshire Cross-Country League took place in brilliant sunshine at Sewerby last Sunday. 104 men and women from eight local running clubs ran the testing 6-mile course. Bishop Burton College hosted a ‘clinic’ by British Eventing where riders were given valuable lessons by experienced riders on their Showjumping techniques.
