Beverley Racecourse has revealed its programme for the 2018 season where the Yorkshire course will host 19 fixtures in what is set to be another packed campaign which will get underway on April 18 with the opening meeting of the year.

Our Histories Revealed – Africans In Hull And East Yorkshire
The stories and social histories of Black people with African heritage will be shared in Our Histories Revealed, a fascinating exhibition at Hull History Centre next month, as part of the African Stories in Hull and East Yorkshire project.
The project, which received funding from the Heritage Lottery Fund in May 2016, aims to create a record of the local stories, oral histories, art and music that have been collected from people across Hull and the East Riding, from extraordinary family histories to anecdotes remembered over the dining table.

The Brough Seaplane completion was created to mark the centenary of the BAE Brough site and also inspire young people in schools to embrace engineering. Cllr David Elvidge says he is going to seek an update and advice from Humberside Police following a spike of thefts from homes in Beverley.
