Classically Yours Programme Receives More Funding

East Riding of Yorkshire Council, in partnership with Orchestras Live, are celebrating the news that their RPS award winning programme, Classically Yours, has received a grant of £95,434 from Arts Council England to allow it to continue until March 2020.

This means that the pioneering work to bring classical music to venues and communities which would not normally be able to enjoy and benefit from it can continue in various locations across the East Riding.

Dignitaries and Civic Leaders gathered at the Humber Bridge on Saturday to celebrate the iconic structure’s place at the heart of the local community.

Mayors of Hull, Barton and North Lincolnshire; the Lord Lieutenant of East Yorkshire and Vice Lieutenant of Lincolnshire, and; representatives from the four local authorities and town councils near to the bridge, all took part in the Civic event which included a tour of the bridge and a trip up the north tower.
