Beverley Chess Club are holding a publicity day this coming Saturday at Beverley Library.
At the event members of the public will be given the opportunity to meet players and officials from the club.
There will also be the chance to take on the computer chess as well as arrange a visit to the chess club.
On the day there was also a free competition anyone attending can enter the chest themed prize up for grabs also take advantage of free coaching.
Taking place on Saturday, 1 August 2015 event runs from 9:30 AM through to 3:30 PM.
