During the Halloween season, Sewerby Hall and Gardens will host outdoor cinema featuring two spooky films.

The Lost Boys (15), a classic vampire film, will be screened at Adventure Cinema on Friday, 21 October as part of its Halloween program.

As the gates open at 6.30pm, ghostly tracks will play before the film is shown on a giant screen in the grounds at 8pm.

Attendees are encouraged to bring a blanket and a camping chair as well as to dress warm as it will be a cold evening – fancy dress is also encouraged! It is expected that the film will end around 10 p.m.

There is a Disney Halloween classic coming to the Big Screen on Saturday, 22 October, with the villainous comedy witches Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy starring as the evil witches in this Disney Halloween classic.

You are welcome to bring a picnic and enjoy the film from 6.30pm onwards. The gates will open at 5pm. It is recommended that people coming along wrap up warm and bring camping chairs and a blanket. Around 8pm the film will come to an end.

Marie Gascoigne, general manager, Sewerby Hall and Gardens, said:

“We are really looking forward to welcoming back Adventure Cinema after their very popular summer holiday film screenings, and these special Halloween performances will be a great night out for fans of spooky movies!”
