Beverley Rugby Club Host Bridlington And You Are Invited To Join Them

Beverley Rugby Club is inviting the residents in the town to visit Beaver Park this weekend to enjoy a game of rugby.

The Beavers will host local rivals Bridlington in a pre-season friendly at Beaver Park. Gates will open at 1PM with the match getting underway at 2Pm.

A local derby the match promises to be a competitive one. For manager Craig Hancock the match will also give him a chance to see how far his side has progressed.

A spokesperson for the club explained more, they said;

“We hope people in the town will come down and support the team. There will be no admission fee to get into the ground for either members or non-members of the club.”

“On the day the club will open the bar from 1PM. Providing the weather is good the club will also host a BBQ.”

“For those who want to enjoy a drink while watching the game we have a promotion on Yard Bird Pale Ale. You can get a two-pint glass for just £6.”

“As a club, we really want to try and encourage people to come down. We feel it is a good opportunity for those who are not familiar with rugby to be introduced to the game.”

Beverley Rugby Club Is Family Friendly

“Beaver Park is a family-friendly environment. We really hope the community get behind the club and joins us on game day.”

Beverley will get their new season underway next month. They start with two away games at Wetherby and Bradford Salem. Their first home fixture of the new season is against Dinnington.

Beverley RUFC is also promoting their ‘Lunch With a Legend’ event. Taking place on 30 September it is a lunch with a legend of the game, Gordan Murphy.

Tickets for this are just £40 per person with anyone interested being urged to book early to avoid disappointment.
