Burton Constable Holiday Park, East Yorkshire, is proud to announce its recent top-level AA Five Pennant rating and a high Merit Quality score of 88% from the AA Hotel and Hospitality Services, therefore retaining its AA Five Pennant accolade.
Like AA 1–5-star ratings for hotels, self-catering and guest accommodation, caravan parks and campsites are inspected and rated from one to five black pennants.
This is an assessment of the quality and variety of facilities a park offers – including customer care and hospitality, toilet facilities and park landscaping – based on the inspector’s experienced opinion.
The AA Ratings & Awards website states that these parks “are of an extremely high standard, set in attractive surroundings with mature landscaping. Facilities, security and customer care are exceptional.”
Burton Constable Holiday Park & Arboretum is a VisitEngland 5-star rated holiday park in the beautiful countryside of East Yorkshire. In addition to camping and touring, there are other various accommodation types to choose from, including holiday lodges and static caravans to buy and rent as well as deluxe glamping pod holidays.
The park’s grass and hard-standing touring pitches come with 10 amp electric hookups, a 24-hour WC, shower block, laundrette and children’s play area. Fully equipped with everything required for a truly wonderful staycation, the rental lodges, static caravans and deluxe glamping pods are situated in the most sought-after areas of the Park.
In addition to the outstanding accommodation options, the pet-friendly award-winning holiday park, which has been family owned since 1968, has onsite picturesque lakes, stunning countryside views, and both a Lakeside Bar and our fully licensed Woodland Store.
Guests enjoy live entertainment, family events, seasonal mini-markets, and a variety of hot and cold meals, which are available throughout the day. Set within the 200-acre grounds of the magnificent Elizabethan Burton Constable Hall, which has been in the Constable family for more than 400 years, there is so much to do and see, before setting off to explore the local towns and beaches.
Rodrica Straker, Trustee of the Burton Constable Estate said:

“We look forward to welcoming many guests this summer and having the opportunity to showcase our AA 5-pennant rated Holiday Park and its superb facilities as reflected in our many wonderful customer reviews.”
AA Hotel and Hospitality Services Inspector, Brian Jones commented: “It is always a pleasure to visit this constantly improving quality holiday destination.”
“An AA Five Pennant rating with a justifiably high AA Merit Score of 88% remains appropriate for Burton Constable Holiday Park and Arboretum.”
