MP, Graham Stuart, visited Molescroft Primary School to join in with their Platinum Jubilee celebrations.
Molecroft Primary School, located in Beverley, teaches approximately 400 students aged 4 to 11. In its last inspection, OFSTED awarded the school an ‘Outstanding’ rating, and its Headteacher is Michael Loncaster.
As part of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebration, Molescroft Primary School organised a Platinum Jubilee Party Day for their pupils. Graham was kindly invited to join the festivities.
As part of the school assembly, Graham spoke about the Queen and her role in defending our democracy.
In addition to a mini Fun Fair, a street party lunch, and traditional party games, he was given a tour of the activities that had been organized for the children.
Following Graham’s visit the Headteacher of Molescroft Primary School, Michael Loncaster, said:
“It was a pleasure to welcome Graham back to Molescroft, the children thoroughly enjoyed his visit.”
“They got to know him in our special assembly as he talked about his work and the role of the Queen.”
“This broke the ice before he then toured the school and grounds to chat warmly with the children enjoying a fabulous platinum party day.”
After participating in the school’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations, Graham commented:
“Thank you to everyone at Molescroft Primary School for including me in your fun-filled Platinum Jubilee celebrations; I really enjoyed being able to mark this historic occasion with you all.”
