Towns Former Tourism Officer Raymond ‘Ray’ Grange Passes Away

Raymond ‘Ray’ Grange, the former Tourism Officer for Beverley and a well-known local character, sadly passed away on Thursday 20 January at Hull Royal Infirmary with his children by his side after a very short and very rapid decline in his health.

Ray spent many years promoting Beverley while he was also involved in making the community safer for residents through his involvement in the neighbourhood watch scheme.

His funeral service will be held at Beverley Minster on the 14 February 2022 at 1.15pm and all are welcome to attend to celebrate his life followed by a walk to Nellie’s (The White Horse) to raise a glass in his favourite pub in his favourite town with his favourite people.
