A Thixendale rapeseed oil business has teamed up with two Yorkshire artisan makers to launch four new gift sets for Mothers’ Day.
Charlie & Ivy’s have partnered with teacher turned ceramicist, Alison Bradley to commission bespoke stoneware dipping oil bowls that are made in her home studio in Filey and furniture maker, Kelvin Lund to produce handcrafted wooden boards.
The Yorkshire boards are made using spalted beech from a North Yorkshire estate and finished with cold-pressed rapeseed oil that protects and enhances the natural colour of the wood.
The gift sets comprise a selection of bowls, boards and Charlie and Ivy’s award-winning products and include a Mother’s Day Handcrafted Dipper Gift Set that comprises a handcrafted bowl, dipper and pourer with a choice of cards (£21.00) and a ‘One in a Million’ Luxury Gift Hamper with two handcrafted stoneware dipping bowls, handmade Yorkshire wooden board plus a wide range of products and a ‘One in a Million’ card (£95.00).
Marcelle Tisserant, part of the Marketing Team at Charlie & Ivy’s is excited about the launch: “We have loved working with Alison and Kelvin to bring you these unique Yorkshire Dipping Sets. They both share our love of making something amazing using local materials and traditional skills.”
In addition to the new handcrafted sets, Charlie & Ivy’s has launched a Happy Mother’s Day version of their popular Happy Birthday Box that allow the gift giver to select dippers, dressings, mayonnaise plus a card from Yorkshire artist, Plewsy.
