Bellway sales advisor, Sarah Fletcher said it with flowers on Valentine’s Day – and gave a house viewer from Swanland an unforgettable surprise.
Carmen Nevill, a lecturer in journalism at Leeds Beckett University, visited Bellway’s Swanland Grange development on West Leys Road at the beginning of February to take a look round its two new shows homes, and when there she entered a prize draw to win a weekend for two at the Devonshire Arms Hotel and Spa on the Bolton Abbey Estate.
After being told she won the prize, Carmen said: “I never enter a prize draw with any expectation of winning; an attitude that’s been ingrained by a lifetime of never having my name pulled out of the hat first. Therefore, my reaction when Sarah told me I’d won was that it must be a joke.
“Now that it’s sunk in, I’m really looking forward to my weekend of luxury in the Yorkshire Dales.”
Swanland Grange comprises 75 three, four and five-bedroom semi-detached and detached homes, all of which are part of Bellway’s Artisan range. Introduced in 2018, the Artisan collection features 24 homes, all of which can be adapted according to different development designs to deliver perfect homes at lower costs.
The Devonshire Arms prize draw ran for one weekend at the beginning of February to mark the opening of two show homes on the development.
The show homes, a four-bedroom Goldsmith and five-bedroom Watchmaker were chosen by Bellway as they best reflect the appeal of Swanland Grange.
