
Production Company, Carrot Productions are on the lookout for a talented young singer to take part in their touring show The Snowman.
Auditions for The Snowman will be held in Beverley on 6 November between 6PM and 8PM. The successful person will sing in Beverley Minster with a professional orchestra in December.
Rachel Whibley of Carrot Productions said;
“We are looking for a soloist to sing Walking in the Air during a performance of The Snowman film.”
“They need to be aged between 7 and 17 years old to have the opportunity to audition to sing a solo with a professional orchestra.”
The Snowman is set to return to Beverley Minster on 11 December 2019. It will be the second year the tour has brought the show to Beverley and is back as a result of the feedback from last year.
“We’re certainly delighted to be returning to Beverley to perform The Snowman again this year.”
“Last year’s shows in the stunning Minster proved to be some of the most moving and also memorable. This was thanks to the splendour and sanctuary of the setting, but also thanks to the local people.”
“The incredible feedback from everyone attending. The word ‘magical’ was mentioned the most. It meant that we just had to come back. We can’t wait.”
Production Company To Hold Auditions In Beverley
Furthermore, organisers say tickets for the show in Beverley are selling fast and uring people to book early to avoid being disappointed.
Beverley Minster will be hosting the tour on the 11 December 2019. Shows will take place at 4.30PM and also at 7PM.
Tickets are priced at from £20 for adults while concessions start from just £15.
The race is now on to find a talented local singer to participate in the show. Auctions will be held at Beverley Minster Parish Hall.
