Beverley Building Society are supporting the 2017 Children in Need campaign by holding a prize draw where you can win your very own Pudsey Bear.

Selling tickets from their branch, the Society will donate all the money to the charity that supports children throughout the UK.

Taking place this Friday, Children in Need sees stars and regular members of the public from all walks of life take part in fun fund raising activities.

Jenny Clark, from Beverley Building Society said;

“We support Children in Need every year. Customers have an opportunity to purchase tickets and when the children in need is coming to an end we make the draw and name the winner.”

“We do as we like to show our support for Children in Need. This year we have two Pudsey Bears up for grabs.”

Pudsey Bear has already been to Beverley when he was in the Town Centre on Sunday to meet Peter Levy and following their epic bike ride.

High profile figures backing this year’s Children in Need include Dame Barbra Windsor who launched the £500m Treasure hunt – the number of old round pound coins still in circulation.

Speaking of the campaign, Dame Barbara Windsor said:

“I am delighted to be supporting Pudsey’s Round Pound Countdown to support BBC Children in Need, a charity incredibly close to my heart, and hope that everyone gets behind this exciting campaign.”

“Every round pound found is like a hidden treasure uncovered, especially for the many children and young people around the UK who will benefit from this money. But the clock is ticking, so search high and low, shake out your piggy bank, have a good rummage through your purse, and make every last round pound count!”

The charity raised £60m last year, a total they hope to beat with the support of the public and organisations like the Beverley Building Society.

Anyone wishing to stand a chance of winning a Pudsey Bear can do so by popping into the Beverley Building Society, tickets for the draw are just 50p per ticket, £2 for a strip or £5 for four strips.
