Beverley Town Football Club will host Humber Premier League leaders Sculcoates Amateurs this Saturday at the .

Recent weeks have seen Rich Jagger and his Town side put plenty of points on the board though a slip up last weekend to Hanson Jewellers has put more pressure on his side to get a result against the leaders.

Speaking ahead of the match Jagger said;

“It will be a real test against the league leaders, and I’m looking for the lads to bounce back after last weeks result.”

“Our performance last week wasn’t far off, if we can start the game  well on Saturday and get Sculcoates on the back foot then anything can happen.”

“It should be a great game for the spectator, and I would encourage everyone to come down and cheer the lads on.”

Skipper , who faces a late fitness test as he struggles to recover from a strained back echoed the calls of his manager for the side to reproduce the quality they showed last week, he said;

“We need a similar performance as last week. Also we just need to capitalise on the chances we create, cut out some individual errors and we will cause a lot of problems.”

Nathan Mist, Ryan Saltmer are also ruled out for the visit of Scullies, but Jagger can call upon the services of Jordan Organ and Shaun Day while there are call ups from the reserves for Will Harrison and Leon Dawson.

When the sides met earlier in season it was a late goal from Scullies super sub Danny Drayton who secured a 3-2 win with the visitors winning on their last outing at Norwood.

Having slipped two places to tenth in the Humber Premier League standings, Town will need a big result if they are to rekindle their interests high up the league.

Kick off between Beverley Town and Sculcoates Amateurs is at 2PM – The bar will be open.
