Masterchef UK Quaterfinalist is Cooking For Comrades

A former soldier and ‘Masterchef UK’ quarterfinalist, is organising an event called Cooking For Comrades to in aid of ABF The Soldiers Charity.

Mr. Williams, 34 who is a resident in spent 10 years in the Armed Forces and since leaving continues to support Military charities.

Speaking about Cooking For Comrades, that takes place in November Mr. Williams said;

“On the back of my moderate ‘Masterchef’ success, I am organising a Charity Black-tie dinner in aid of ‘ABF The Soldiers’ Charity’, on Saturday 19th November 2016, at Middleton Barracks in Hull.”

“I will be cooking a menu designed by me for over 100 , both VIP and paying guests, including Hull’s Lord Mayor and local celebrities from the world of sport and cuisine.”

“In addition, guests will be treated to a canapé and drinks reception. There will also be a prize draw and charity auction held on the evening.”

“Entertainment will be provided by Samantha Atkinson who recently appeared on X-Factor, a military band and we have performances from some of Hull’s rising stars including 14 year old starlet Yasmin Coe; fresh from Hull Trinity Festival.”

Commenting on why he has chosen ABF The Soldiers Charity as the benefactor of the event Mr. Williams said;

“I am dedicated to this charity due to the work it carries out in taking care of the wider Army family, not just the soldiers.”

“It takes care of bereaved families and helps children and wives of families that may be struggling to deal with loss or injury to their loved ones, be it physical or mental illness.”

Mr. Williams has been busy promoting his event and was recently at the Flemingate Leisure Complex where he was joined by soldiers from the ‘Queens Own Yeomanry’.
