The blue and golds take on Norland Sharks this Saturday with the business end of the season now here and have been given a boost by the return of key players.
Beverley’s squad has been boosted by the return of Alex Calvert, Lewis Poskitt, Tom Moor and Glen Anfield to the team from holidays.
Doncaster Toll Bar’s midweek victory saw them overtake and return Beverley into fourth place. Pat Howdle and Scott Taylor have not given up on finishing higher in the table with three games remaining.
Toll Bar do have five games left but two of those are against leaders Sharlston so if Beverley can win all their remaining games third place is still a possibility.
This would almost certainly avoid a daunting trip to the likely first placed team Sharlston Rovers in the play-off semi-finals.
Beverley can still be denied fourth place by Illingworth who still have seven games to play but it would be a tall order due to fixture congestion.
Kick-off in this all important fixture is at 2.30PM at the Beverley Leisure Centre.
