Beverley Male Voice Choir have organised a joint concert with the Abertillery Orpheus Male Choir on Friday 24th June at Toll Gavel Church, Beverley starting at 7-30pm.
Henry Burton from the Beverley Male Voice Choir said;
“This concert promises to be a superb concert with this renowned choir, who are one of the top male voice choir’s in South Wales.”
“Abertillery Orpheus Male Choir have sung in the Royal Albert Hall, the Usher Hall in Edinburgh and the National Stadium in Cardiff and have travelled extensively through Europe with visits to Germany, Holland, Spain and France.”
“They have also been on tour in the USA and Canada and we are very pleased and fortunate to be able to welcome them here in Beverley.”
“The concert will bring a new sound to Beverley with renditions by them of Scarborough Fair, Battle Hymn of the Republic, Old MacDonald and Shenandoah etc together with joint ones of Morte Criste and Rhythm of Life.”
Tickets for this very special concert are £7 each and are now available from the Beverley Tourist Information Office, Butcher Row, Beverley.
