GALLERY : Beverley Races Pay Tribute To Queen

Thousands of attended for an afternoon meeting that was blessed by stunning spring weather.

With it being the Queen’s Birthday there were some special events staged at the course including a performance of the National Anthem ahead of the Queen’s Own Yeomanry Handicap.

The Queen’s Own Yeomanry Handicap was won by Garcia ridden by Tony Hamilton.

Racing takes a short break now, returning to Beverley on May 2 when the course hosts the ever popular May Day Meeting.

There is plenty to do for all the family with the doors opening at Beverley Racecourse from 10AM with the final race set to go off at 5.15PM.
