Local Rugby Club Present H.E.R Breast Friends With Over £1000

Beverley RUFC Ladies Committee have handed over the money they raised at the clubs Ladies Day event back in March.

What turned out to be a massive success the club were pleased to present H.E.R Breast Friends with almost double the total than last year.

Committee Member Mandy Price said;

“H.E.R Breast friends offer many services to women and their families going through treatment for breast cancer and following treatment.”

“H.E.R Breast friends also offer counselling, aromatherapy treatments, wig services or just a cup of tea and a friendly face, we are pleased the £1300 we raised will help them continue to provide this vital work in the community.”

“This money was raised following the clubs very successful ladies day when the players pink kit was auctioned off. This saw the total amount double from the previous year year.”

“We hope the club continues its close link with H.E.R Breast friends and will look to organise other events.”
