Depleted Braves Show Efficiency As They Beat The Warriors

Despite having six players unavailable due to work commitments and holidays under 12s did a thoroughly efficient job disposing of a hard working Warriors outfit who are finding it tough at present.

Four first half tries, none of which were improved, got the Braves off to a flier. All the tries were well constructed and involved some great ball movement from halves Joe McCabe and Charlie Gay after some outstanding work through the middle from Josh Hamlyn, Adam Greenwood, and man of the match loose forward Alex Nuttall.

The second half went the same as the first but not before some spirited resistance from Myton, unfortunately they had to get thru second row Ellis Gaden and Hamlyn to make any headway so progress was limited as they put in a big stint in defense.

Eventually the floodgates opened in the last 10 and a further three tries and two Goals from the impressive Owen Miller completed the scoring.

Coach said;

“Seize today, and put as little trust as possible in tomorrow.”

In a game where many boys played very well special mention must go to the Nuttall twins, Miller and centre Matthew Cook who scored his first try for the club.

Final Score: Myton Warriors 0 Beverley Braves 32 | Reported by David Walker
