New Prospectuses For East Riding College Out Now

People who are looking to take their next step in education or who want to strengthen their CV can find their future with two new prospectuses from .

The full-time and higher-education course guides feature more than 100 programmes across the full range of subject areas at levels equivalent to degrees, A-level and GCSEs.

Principal said: “This is the time of the year when people of all ages begin thinking about their next steps in education or in their career.

“School pupils in Year, 11 are considering their options after GCSEs and adults may be considering a change of career or looking at enhancing their qualifications, which would help them to advance in their current role.”

He added:

“Our full-time further education prospectus includes practical vocational and academic courses, which give you

UCAS points for university entry and the skills, knowledge and personal qualities to be an outstanding job interview candidate.

“The higher-education prospectus features qualifications ranging from HNCs and HNDs to degrees and our very popular teacher-training courses, all of which are ideal for strengthening your CV and progressing with your career.”

The full-time prospectus includes details of vocational and academic courses in art, media and design; business; construction; early years, health and social care; engineering; foundation programmes; hairdressing and beauty therapy; hospitality and catering; information technology; motor vehicle; and performing arts; public services; sport and recreation; travel and tourism; and access to higher education.

It features details of the full-time A-level programme now running at the College’s Bridlington campus which features a range of subjects from which to choose as well as a scheme which allows students to study an extra A-level in addition to vocational courses, which is available at the Beverley and Bridlington campuses.

There is also a detailed section on the Apprenticeships provided by the College and information on life at the College, the new Beverley campus, open events and how to apply for courses.

The higher-education course guide gives details of the higher-level courses the College offers in accounting; art, media, design and music; business; construction; early years; engineering; hairdressing and beauty therapy; health and safety; health and social care; information technology; management; learning support; public services; sport and recreation; teacher training and education; and travel and tourism.

There is also a section on access to higher-education courses, which enable people who have been out of education for a while to get the experience and points they need to get into college or university.
