Beverley Town See Off Bridlington At Norwood

continued their good run of form after they beat Bridlington Town Reserves at the Norwood Recreation Ground.

Gary Collins gave the home side an early advantage though his goal was cancelled out as the sides went in level at the break.

Manager tweaked the formation at half time and Town were soon ahead again thanks to a goal from Arthur McHale.

Town sealed the win through Alex Stark who came off the bench to score Beverley’s third goal securing all three points for the home side.

Town’s commenting on the game said;

“It was a good win, I felt like we dominated for most of the game to be fair.Having Tom Davies back after his Men’s Health photo shoot last Saturday was a real boost.”

“We have got local rivals the Lord Nelson in two weeks so we will go into that game full of confidence after a couple of decent wins.”

Victory leaves Beverley Town Reserves in fourth place in the East Riding County League. Town are home agin next weekend as they host Gilberdyke Phoenix.
