Ian Goodman a former resident of who now lives in Cheshire came up with a unique way to celebrate his 55th birthday.

Ian lived in Beverley during the 80s, so decided to set up a bike in the Beverley Branch of TSB Bank and then peddled 107.3 miles, the distance to the TSB branch in Warrington.

Money he collected from completing his challenge was donated to the Alzheimer’s Society.

Further support for his efforts came from Super League club who donated a signed rugby ball for a prize draw.
