There are just a matter of hours left for people to buy an extra gift and show their support to Mission Christmas, a campaign that ensures no child is left without a gift this Christmas!
For the past month, a number of locations in Beverley that include the Beverley Building Society, Farthing’s Steak Emporium and Riverview Auto Repairs have been collecting gifts that will be given to children in our region.
On Saturday, a massive effort was made in Hull with Viking FM Presenters Rosie & Jim and the Hull Mini Owners Club at Princess Quay to encourage people to donate just one more gift.
Charlotte Pickering from Viking FM’s Cash for Kids said;
“Thursday is the final day for leaving gifts at the drop-off points, but people can still bring their presents into the Viking FM Studio until Friday.”
All the presents that have been collected will be finding their way to children who are at risk of not getting a gift this Christmas, Charlotte added;
“If you were unable to purchase an extra toy you can still donate by texting TOYS18 £5 to 70070 to donate £5.”
“We would like to thank everybody that has donated toys this year, together we can make a difference!”
