Beverley Community Lift Team Up With Retailer M&Co For Night Of Fashion

Beverley Community Lift has teamed up with M&Co and will be hosting a fashion show next week in Beverley.

The charity which provides a valuable service to the elderly and disabled in our area who cannot drive themselves, particularly to hospital and doctors’ appointments.

Jan Stainforth, Chief Executive Officer for Beverley Community Lift thought of the idea after she was in Malton and saw the M&Co branch there holding a similar event for a local charity, Jan said;

“We have not done one before with M&Co, so I approached the store, they were very helpful and willing to put on an event for us.”

“Nights like this are very important to us as a charity, we raise some funds, but most of all it gives us the chance to get our name out there and make people aware of the service we offer.”

“The fashion show will give us a chance to reach more people and tell them about our services and also remind people they can volunteer and be part of very worthwhile cause.”

Natalie Ledger who is the Assistant manager at M&Co said;

“Our company holds regular events to support local charities, when the Beverley Community Lift approached us we more than happy to hold an event for them.”

“Myself and all the staff at the store are really looking forward to what should be a good evening.”

The Fashion Show will take place in M&Co located on Saturday Market on Wednesday 28th August from 7pm.

Tickets for the event are priced at just £3 and can be purchased direct from the M&Co store or from the Beverley Community Lift office which is located on Corporation Road.

The price includes a drink on arrival and M&Co will also be offering a discount of 10% on all purchases made during the night.
