Young people from Burden Road Youth Centre hosted a Christmas meal for the elders in their local community.
The Christmas meal was prepared and served up by the young people who also funded some of the ingredients.
Volunteer Chris Nicholson said;
“The idea behind the meal is to get the young and the old people interacting. Older people often feel threatened when they see groups of young people in the street but things like this helps break down those barriers and ease those tensions.”
