The Beverley Building Society is a drop-off point for this year’s Mission Christmas Appeal and since the 12th of November new toys have been flooding through the door.
Thanks to incredibly kind donations and the support of the Beverley Building Society staff many more local disadvantaged children will wake up to a brighter Christmas morning.
Hundreds of new toys have been donated at the building society so far and staff hope that in the final few weeks leading up to Christmas there will be many more.
Peter Myers, Chief Executive for the Beverley Building Society said:
“We would like to thank everybody who has donated a toy to the appeal, everybody at the society is delighted about how supportive the local community has been. Between now and the 22nd of December we want to raise as many gifts as possible so that local children don’t go without a present this Christmas.”
If you would like any more information on how you can support the Mission Christmas Appeal please call into the Beverley Building Society branch or phone the society on 01482 881510.
