The Tanners suffered a 7 – 0 defeat to Reckitts AFC in their first game of the new Humber Premeir League season.
Their game was moved to Hull after no pitch was available at Bishop Burton College.
Manager Rob Lever said after the game;
“We were beaten by very strong team, we missed all our chances and they took there’s.”
“The Scoreline is not a fair reflection but the result was right.”
Defeat leaves Hodgsons FC bottom of the table. The Tanners will return to action on Wednesday when they face St Andrews at Bishop Burton College.
