Free Shadwon Fun At Hull Scraptore

Beverley –based Anglo-Indonesian Indigo Moon Theatre Company are set to lay down roots in the local region, having toured nationally in theatres, schools and Arts Centres for over ten years, part of their professional freelance experience of over twenty years. They wish to kick – start their local activities at Scrapstore by offering FREE Giant Shadow Theatre Taster Days to local Hull children, August 28th – 31st 2012.

This has been made possible due to subsidy from Arts, and Indigo Moon Theatre hope this will be the first of many exciting activities to happen at Hull Scrapstore, Dairycoates Avenue, HU3 5DB. Indigo Moon Theatre’s thrilling exploration of Light and Shadow, run by Haviel Perdana, is a fun and exciting way of telling a Story on a Giant Screen… Children aged 8 – 14 will learn the Art of creative Shadow Puppets and Body Shadows – Amazing Lighting techniques and Sounds to go with them – a great way to finish off the Summer holidays at the end of August!

Artistic co-director of Indigo Moon,Anna Ingleby, said: “We are thrilled to have this support from Hull City Council, to embark on our new journey with Hull Scrapstore – which we hope will eventually be part of many different and regular activities – offering enriching and inspiring experiences to local young people, from not just ourselves but from various other artists of different disciplines too”.
