Humberside Police are appealing for information in connection with an incident which happened at the junction of Trinity Lane and Wilbert Grove, Beverley at around 0920hrs on Wednesday 23 May 2012.
A 41-year-old man was walking alone, when he was approached by a man who appeared to push him as he walked past.
The two men were then involved in a physical altercation which resulted in the 41-year-old man sustaining injuries to his head and arms.
The offender is described as white man aged between 30 to be 35 years old, 6ft 2ins to 6ft 4ins tall. He had thick curly brown hair and was clean shaven.
He was wearing a khaki coloured jacket, which was zipped to the top, faded blue jeans and sunglasses. He spoke with a local accent.
