AFC Tickton played Hedon Rangers in their final game of the season, in a tight first half it was Hedon who scored first after the referee spotted hand ball inside the penalty area.
In the second half Hedon took more control of the game keeping Tickton to defensive duties for most of the half and it came as no surprise that Hedon increased their lead by two further goals ending the game 3 goals to nil.
In the second match Tickton started much better with some great football which was rewarded when they took the lead.
Unfortunately AFC Tickton couldn’t continue with the pressure and Hedon slowly worked their way back into the game scoring an equaliser before half time. Hedon grew in confidence in the second period and their efforts paid off once again as they scored two more goals to end any hopes of a Tickton win.
