Beverley Town Cricket Club’s 2nd XI retained their second spot in Division 2 with a comfortable home win at the expense of a Malton side who were bowled out for 117 by Adam Nicholson (5-31).
This was an excellent bowling effort on what was a superb wicket at the Norwood Recreation Ground considering the conditions.
Malton’s James Dawson made 50 in what proved to be a lost cause as Tim Smith (57) and Paul Best (25no) steered Beverley to a 7 wicket triumph.
