Try Tennis For Free At Beverley & East Riding Lawn Tennis Club

Would you like to play tennis or have you played in the past?

It is a great way to get fit, have fun and make new friends. The & East Riding Lawn Tennis Club is a friendly, mixed ability Club and would welcome new junior and adult members.

The Club is based at the historic , off Without, and has 7 all weather courts.

A great way to find out more about the Club would be to join their existing members at the popular Annual Open Day on Sunday April 15th anytime between 1pm and 4pm. There will be the opportunity to play tennis, meet the enthusiastic head coach, Tom Davies and find out more about the Club from existing members.

Rackets will be available to borrow and refreshments will be served all afternoon. There will also be the chance to buy tennis clothing and accessories. You could even try out your service speed with the new speed gun.

The Club has a friendly and thriving social tennis section with twice weekly sessions during the summer, fun tournaments and regular social events.

There is a successful and growing junior section, with 10 free coaching sessions included with junior membership. There are a number of teams competing in local and regional men’s, ladies, mixed and junior leagues with many successes last season.

These included the continuing success of the men’s team in the Yorkshire League Division 1, winning the men’s and mixed Driffield League Division 1 titles, the mixed Knockout Cup and junior year 11 and 7 division titles.

There is the opportunity for players of ALL standards to compete at an appropriate level or just turn up at the Club and enjoy the well attended social sessions. The Club is hoping for another successful season, giving all members the chance to enjoy playing tennis throughout the year.

Free unrestricted parking is available on North Bar Without every Sunday and secure cycle parking is available at the Club.
