got off to the perfect start scoring early on, but it didn’t take long for Tickton to respond as John yeo tapped in the equalizer .

Bridlington with the help of the strong winds kept under pressure and finally regained the lead going in at the break.

Into the second half and AFC Tickton came out fighting with Charlie Hargreaves grabbing an equalizer and not long after Danny Devitt putting Tickton ahead with a well taken goal.

Controversy surrounded Tickton’s fourth goal when the impressive Charlie Hargreaves broke the offside trap to smash the ball home, the Bridlington coaching staff and players claimed the scorer was well offside but their complaints fell on deaf ears  as the referee stood by his decision.

Bridlington did manage to grab another goal to make it a close game, but AFC Tickton deserved all three points.
