Both United goals came via Daniel Atkinson though his first strike is to be referred to the dubious goals panel and is likely to be credit as an own goal.
Despite his brace Atkinson missed out on the man of the match award which was given to Jimbob Waldren for his classy performance.
There is still plenty of work to be done on this young Mill Lane United side though with the help of Paul and Steve Grantham they are certainly every chance to become a force in local football.
