Atiola & Morris Return for the Battle With Waterloo

Beverley RUFC are off on their travels across the Pennines once again on Saturday for their crucial encounter with fellow relegation strugglers Waterloo.

They certainly did themselves a power of good last week with a very impressive performance at Middlesbrough where they eased their problems with a 27 – 11 victory.

Welcome as this performance and result was, a look at the relative statistics for Waterloo and Middlesbrough suggests that the former will be a stiffer proposition to overcome.

Nevertheless, the obvious focus that was there last Saturday and the way in which the players responded to the situation, must give every chance of another welcome victory, if they are repeated.

The Beavers have prop Danny Morris and centre returning, but will be without utility back (injured) and wing Glen Walden who is unavailable due to work commitments. Others are suffering from minor knocks and selection will be delayed until after training on Thursday.
