After a week’s break Beverley RUFC return to league action this Saturday with a visit to Birkenhead Park, for their National League 3 (North) encounter.
Birkenhead Park are in a similar position in the league table to the Beavers with a similar playing record so a close encounter is on the cards.
Birkenhead is always a difficult place to visit and record a win, but has historically been a happy hunting ground for the Beavers and they will be entering the game with some confidence following two good performances in their last two encounters against Rochdale and Bradford & Bingley.
Skipper Dave Worrall is set to return after his wrist injury and hooker Rob Todd is also fit after receiving what looked, but proved not to be, a bad injury to his knee last time out.
Indeed the only doubt to Beverley’s line-up at the time of writing is whether centre Sam Atioala’s visa renewal come through in time for his re-registration to be effective. On the basis that it does, Beverley should line-up as follows :-
P.Dale, G.Jelencic, S.Atiola, J.Tupai, C.Harding, P.Duboulay, C.Infield, F.Pickering, R.Todd, D.Morris, M.Adams, G.Gibson, J.Stephenson, D.Worrall,(capt), J.McKay.
Replacements :- M.Hatfield, G.Walden, J.Fisher
