Aquatic Activities at Beverley Leisure Complex

Swimming Beverley Leisure Centre

Leisure Complex is offering a wide range of aquatic activities over the next few months.

October Half Term Aquatic Activities (25th – 29th Oct 10)

One-to-one lessons for children. Individuals can enjoy the benefits of private lessons with one-to-one teaching; the lessons last half an hour and will take place from 8 – 10am. Our aim is to make learners feel relaxed and comfortable and learn at their own pace. These lessons allow us to address the needs of each individual learner and one-to-one tuition is often more effective than class lessons for this reason. The cost for the week is £89. Helen Woodmansey will be the teacher. Places will be offered on a first come first paid basis and spaces are limited.

Snorkelling Taster Week – this session will take place 9 – 10am Monday – Friday during half term (dates as above).  Children attending must be in Grade 5 or above. During the week children will learn to snorkel safely and have lots of fun. The cost for the week is £19.50.

“Crash Course” swimming lessons are running for children in grades one and two during half-term.  These are a great way for children to learn how to swim and improve their confidence.  The course is intensive so the children’s progression can be seen daily.
