The Inter Beaver sneaked past FC Fruit this Sunday with a 2 – 1 victory.
Inter took the lead thanks a dubious penalty, awarded for what looked like a foul outside the box, Mike Dixon stepped up and coolly converted the kick. FC Fruit levelled things in early in the second half, though Inter got a second to clinch the match courtesy of Chris Williamson 15 minutes before time.
The game was used by sides to fill a gap in the fixtures; man of the match was awarded to Scott-Jon Tyler of the Inter Beaver.
