NEW AGE KURLING AT BEVERLEY LEISURE COMPLEX

Beverley Leisure Complex is hosting a free new age kurling taster session on Monday, 12 July.

New age kurling is a form of the original game, but adapted to be played in a sports hall rather than on ice.

The game can be played both able bodied and disabled participants and the sessions are available for all ages and abilities.

The free taster will be from 4pm until 6pm with no need to book, just turn up and play.

JUNIOR SESSIONS AT BEVERLEY LEISURE COMPLEX

Due to popular demand Beverley Leisure Complex is about to start a junior athletics session.

The 10 week course takes place on Fridays from 4pm to 5pm for five to eight year olds and from 5pm to 6pm for nine to 12 year olds.

There are also places available within the S Club Club for three to five year olds, with sessions on a Saturday morning between 8am and 11am.

FREE ULTIMATE FRISBEE AT BEVERLEY LEISURE COMPLEX

Beverley Leisure Complex is pleased to announce its ultimate Frisbee sessions will now be run free of charge.

The sport is a fun, non-contact invasion game which incorporates aspects from other team sports such as American football, and .

The game is played using a disk or Frisbee where the object of the game is to score a goal by completing a pass to a player standing in the opposition’s end zone.

Sessions take place every Monday at Beverley Leisure Complex on the outdoor field, from 6.15pm to 7.15pm.

Players must be 18 or over to participate.

RETURN TO ROUNDERS AT BEVERLEY LEISURE COMPLEX

Beverley Leisure Complex is pleased to announce it will be running rounders sessions for women from Wednesday, 14 July.

The informal sessions offer an ideal way to get active in a fun and sociable way and are great for those who may not have played the game since school.

There is a free taster at the complex on Wednesday, 14 July from 7pm to 8pm and sessions will run every Wednesday there after priced at £2.

Participants must be 18 years old or over to take part.
