The Ancient and Unique setting of Beverley Minster will pay host on Saturday evening to Beverley Chamber Choir in what will be a special start to Christmas.
After many months of planning the Choir will perform a programme of Bach Music specifically for Christmas, including parts of the Christmas Oratorio. The choir will be joined by an orchestra which is drawn from some of the best Baroque instrument players in the country including the international trumpet player Crispian Steele-Perkins.
Soloists of national repute will also join the choir, each soloist having both experience of singing in the College choirs of Oxford and Cambridge and having made recordings with top international conductors and choirs.
Drawing together this top musical talent and bringing it into the special setting of Beverley Minster at Christmas is something the choir is very proud of. This concert must not be missed.
The concert begins at 7.30 pm on Saturday 12th December in Beverley Minster with tickets available from 6.45 pm on the door.
