The Beverley Christmas Lights were switched on by the Mayor of Beverley David Elvidge. The Beverley Pipe Band led a parade from Market Cross up Toll Gavel lighting all three of the Christmas trees with music from the Beverley Pipe Band.
The Mayor of Beverley thanked the Beverley Christmas Lights appeal and the Beverley Lions before encouraging the crowds to count down from 10 before he flicked the switch. Additional music was provided by the Beverley Brass Band outside the Angel pub.
